Small enough for a pocket and sleek enough to belong on a desk, this Must de Cartier cigar cutter distills the house's Trinity design into a pocket-sized object. Made in France, it pairs a disc of brushed steel with three polished bars of yellow gold tone and silver tone metal, the three-band motif that has been one of Cartier's most recognizable signatures for a century.

The design is graphic and beautifully balanced. A circular body measuring 1 3/4" across has a softly brushed, satin surface framed by a bright, polished rim, and a round cut-out at the center forms the opening for the cigar. Along the upper edge, the Trinity bars sit side by side, gold, silver, gold, each one rounded at both ends like a pill, with a high polish that sets them apart from the quiet finish of the disc. The words Must de Cartier are engraved in fine script on the face, a discreet mark of the house's Must line, which was created to make Cartier's design language accessible in everyday objects.

The round form fits easily in a jacket pocket or travel kit, and it is just as handsome sitting out on a humidor tray or a bar cart as a small sculptural object, where the mix of brushed and polished metal plays nicely with the light.

For collectors of Cartier, tobacciana and refined desk and smoking accessories, the Trinity cutter is an easy piece to love. It also makes a polished gift for a cigar enthusiast, a groomsman or anyone who appreciates a small object with a big name.

Who Are You Buying From?

Every object here has a journey before it ever reaches you. I've spent years seeking these pieces out, in back rooms of old ateliers, from families who've inherited more than they can keep, through dealers I've come to trust, in conversations with people who still work with their hands, because I've always believed the things we choose to live with should carry something true. What began as a private obsession became a devotion, one I now share with my wife and daughter, who remind me daily that the best collections are the ones built to be passed down, not simply owned. What you're holding isn't just an object. You're inheriting its story, and becoming part of its next chapter.
