This vintage European sterling silver bracelet, likely German, is a chunky, polished chain of open oval links joined by small flat bar connectors. Made in Europe, possibly Germany, in the 1980s or 1990s, it has the substantial, confident look of jewelry from that era, when bold silver chains were worn by men and women alike.

Each link has a softly rounded, slightly heart shaped profile, and the links are fully finished with a smooth, high polish that catches the light as the bracelet moves. The flat bar connectors add rhythm and give the chain a flexible, easy drape, so it conforms comfortably to the wrist.
